Email Rejection Policy

sigsegv.cx reserves the right to reject email from anyone at any time. Freedom of speach also means the freedom not to listen. If you have been referred to this page in an email this means that people with sigsegv.cx email addresses have chosen no to listen to you. This means either one of the following:

• You have sent an email using a webmail system which provides spammer friendly services, does not run a proper abuse team and does not check outgoing mails for SPAM and fraud. Caramail, virgilio, yahoo's calendar services, and the like fall into this category. We do not accept mail from them and never will.
• You (or your company) have sent SPAM to this site. We use http://www.spamhaus.org/ databases for filtering. Get your IP address removed from their databases and the mail will come through.
• You (or your company) have been told to take your wares elsewhere and you ignored the request.
• You (or your company) have been abusive or have deliberately tried to waste our time.
• You (or your company) have tried to resell our personal data to spammers, scammers or other direct marketing lowlife. We regularly watermark email addresses and appearance of watermarks in a spammer database will lead to an immediate eternal blacklist of the company that leaked it. This is done automatically as a part of our standard greylisting procedures
• You (or your company) have failed to act on a "remove my data from your database" as required by the UK data protection act.

The lifetime of most local blacklist entries is set to 1 year and is renewed on any contact attempt within this year. If you have any objections we will be happy to hear from you once the blacklist entry has expired. If you want to talk to us before that - tough luck.
