This is probably the best Bulgarian Spa resort.

On the positive side - It is small, non-crowded and can grow very little in the future due to the limited capacity of the mineral springs. It is also located at the next to one of the most beautiful areas for mountain treks in Bulgaria.

On the negative side - some of the hotel and villa owners have the classic Balkan "I do not give a flying f***" mentality. They think that money in the tourist industry grows on trees and there is no need to invest to get money back. They refuse to pay their contributions to pest control, dump rubbish in the river and so on. While it is not as bad as in Pomakistan? it is sad none the less.
